How we charge

Artwork by Chuck Elliott

There are two words to describe the way we charge for our services: bespoke and tailored. Our fees are based on your circumstances so there’s no magic number for us to display here, but what we can guarantee is that they are lower than average.

We are always clear and transparent about our charges, which will be discussed in an initial meeting held at our expense. You will always know what you’re paying before you decide to proceed.

They are based solely upon the provision of our qualified and professional expertise, the time taken to analyse your circumstances and devise an appropriate strategy, the design of an appropriate summary report and the value we can add to you.

Making a positive impact

Our clients tell us that we add value to them at a planning meeting in a number of different ways, some of which we have listed below:

Icon

Checking how any personal changes in income or capital wealth may impact their current provisions or tax situation.

Icon

Investing evokes emotion that can disrupt plans. We help counter your emotions with behavioural coaching and a long-term positive perspective.

Icon

Explaining in simple terms how any UK Government Budget announcements impact them by way of welfare or income, capital or Inheritance Tax changes.

Icon

Giving them reminders so that they don’t miss out on valuable allowances, such as ISAs. Once they are gone, they are gone forever.

Icon

Rebalancing their assets so they’re comfortable with the risk they take when investing while ensuring they don’t miss out on potentially better returns.

Icon

Reassuring them that they are on track and reaffirming it is a long-term journey and that time in the market is more important than trying to time the market.

OUR CLIENTS

Matthew did a thorough audit of our current and projected circumstances and guided us through the minefield of financial planning. He’s given us sound advice and continues to proactively look after our portfolio, tipping us off when it’s time to switch or tweak investments.

Jeannie

I previously managed my own investments, but it came to the stage where I was investing fairly significant sums, had less time to focus on it, and was investing on behalf of family members. I decided I needed a second opinion. Matthew has been very helpful, friendly and responsive.

Andrew

Matthew leaves no stone unturned to ensure that he completely understands your financial position. He explains everything properly, so you can make an informed decision before agreeing to anything. He also acts for my clients as I'm a small business accountant.

Jessica

Matthew offers a professional service, understanding our goals and needs. He pays attention to our attitude to risk for our family finances and my business. He’s a source of trusted advice for all things financial whenever we need it and has provided us with clear, impartial guidance.
