Hazel has worked in financial services since leaving college. She started at AXA Sun Life administering pensions and since leaving there in 1999, has supported independent financial advisers ever since.

When Hazel first started in the financial services sector, her work was primarily focused on pensions. However, from working for more than 30 years in the industry, she has built up a strong technical knowledge in all areas of financial planning.

On a day-to-day basis, Hazel supports Matthew by providing technical research, analysis and report writing, as well as performing the roles that come with being an office manager.

AT HOME

Outside of work, Hazel is a mum of two teenage boys and is constantly rushing around after them. When she’s not juggling work, home and family, Hazel loves music and jumps at the opportunity to watch a live concert. She also loves exercising, especially swimming, yoga and running.

Researching our client's existing plans and building their valuation statement.

What does a life well-lived look like to you?

Having the balance of working hard but also enjoying the rewards that this brings. Whether it be a holiday, a sporting event or just lunch with friends and family.

What motivates you?

The different aspects of my job and wanting to keep on top of all the different processes, including client recommendations and administration.
